Assessment and improvement of indoor air quality through filtration, humidity control, and ventilation.
Call (832) 559-8236Indoor air quality in The Woodlands is shaped by the Gulf Coast climate. High outdoor humidity, pollen counts, and particulate matter from the surrounding pine forests all enter the home through the HVAC system. A standard 1-inch fiberglass filter catches large debris but does very little for the smaller particles that affect allergies and respiratory health.
Improving indoor air quality starts with upgrading filtration. MERV-rated media filters capture smaller particles without restricting airflow enough to damage the equipment. UV germicidal lamps installed in the air handler reduce biological growth on the coil. Whole-house dehumidifiers work alongside the AC to control humidity independently of temperature.
We assess the current system, identify where air quality improvements would have the most impact, and recommend specific equipment based on the home's layout and the homeowner's concerns. Every recommendation is matched to the existing HVAC equipment so it works as a system, not as a bolt-on that creates new problems.
